This series is inspired by the incorporation of the World War II bunker Pallasstraße, in Berlin. Near impossible to demolish, the social housing is simply built over the solid concrete structure.

This futuristic building looks like a spaceship landed in the middle of Berlin. Built in 1975, this enormous building could accommodate up to 20.000 participants.

Mäusebunker, Berlin, 2022
Originally a facility for animal testing built in the 70s, the sinister design of the building inspired its nickname “Mäusebunker “ (Mouse Bunker).

Institut für Hygiene und Umwelt, Berlin, 2022
The staircase is situated at the back side of the Institute for Hygiene and Environmental Medicine, a complex building that does not have a uniform basic form.

Bierpinsel, Berlin, 2023
Designed by architects Ralf Schüler and Ursulina Schüler-Witte, the Bierpinsel (beer brush) was built 1976. It initially hosted a restaurant, however has been empty for several years.
